SOFTENING: AFTER THE CLEARING

The changes I've noticed in my being, doing and feeling after the 1st Sacred Union Clearing

After energy clearings I follow up with the participants; "How are you being, doing and feeling since the clearing?" Some respond, others do not. I have valid reasons for following up, and would love everyone to respond. So I thought maybe if I show you mine, you’ll show me yours 😁

THE CLEARING EXPERIENCE

As I was about to start the clearing I had an urge to burn Palo Santo, which is unusual. I never smudge my office just for a clearing and am not a fan of the smell of Palo Santo. However I’ve gotten increasingly good at heeding intuitive guidance, so I went with it.

As soon as I started the clearing I was hit by a strong wave of nausea, which was soon joined by a headache around my temple and behind the eye, both on the left side (the feminine side of our body). The nausea and headache cleared after working on the first affirmative goal:

It is now 100% safe for me to soften into my femininity

Nothing out of the ordinary happened after that.

FOLLOW UP ACTIONS

At times energy work has to be supported by physical interventions. This particular clearing had 3 follow up actions.

For the clearing goal

I am now 100% open to healing my relationship with women in all spheres of my life

The follow up action was black pepper essential oil

“Black Pepper is an essential oil of empowerment. As you begin to release resistance towards allowing your authentic self to show up, you free up creative energy to manifest the life and relationships you desire. There is a volcanic energy within Black Pepper that brings inner strength to the forefront." - Gifts of the Essential Oils by Vanessa Jean and Adam Barralet

“…black pepper activates the third eye and helps open your mind to the spiritual realm. The oil also encourages emotional strength during challenging times and can help relieve negative emotions. Black pepper energizes and clears energy blocks. The oil is especially useful for the third chakra to promote healthy personal power, self worth, courage, stamina, and self control…Black pepper oil is often used to relieve both physical and emotional coldness." - from Supernatural

The clearing goal:

I am now 100% open, willing and able to heal my relationship with the women in my family lineage

had 2 follow up actions. The first was to listen to the song -  Circle of Women (I've spoken often about how songs heal or harm). What I found interesting was that it had to be a specific version, the one by Nalini Blossom featuring Craig Pruess. I believe this is because a man is featured in this particular version; and we are after all working towards sacred union between the masculine and the feminine.

The second follow up action is the one I'd like to share about. It was to do Ho’oponopono on specific women in your family (dead or alive) that you know you have issues with.

After an energy clearing I like to address the follow up actions as soon as possible before I get caught up with other things and forget. When I thought about this one, my first, and honest response was “I’ve dealt with all the issues I have with women in my family. I don’t need to do this one.” Within a split second of finishing this thought, someone popped into my mind😩. She is the mother of a close relative’s child…so I guess that makes her family.

I conjured an image of her, and tried the ho’oponopono

“I love you”

“I am sorry”

“Thank you”

“Please forgive me”

None of it felt sincere.

I tried again.

Nope.

I gave up on it.

On Sunday while washing the dishes I remembered a line from a TV show, where a guy on death row for killing his wife said “Everyone thinks they aren't capable of murder, until they meet the right person.” Basically we are all capable of anything under the right circumstances.

This woman has done terrible things to my family. I allowed myself to imagine circumstances under which I would feel justified doing what she's done to us, and I could. So I visualised me and her, super-imposed over each other, as a way to represent that there is a part of me that is like her;  then I could say the ho’oponopono and mean it.

POST THE CLEARING

I'm not a fan of domestic duties. I am highly capable of them, just not a fan 😕. In my twenties, long before it became acceptable for black women to bring their domestic helpers to peel and chop vegetables on their behalf for funerals and the like, my then boyfriend was attempting to convince me of what a terrible snob his older sister was. “She doesn’t do the peeling and cooking herself when we have funerals, she brings her maid!” he said. I was aware that I was meant to be disgusted by this but I thought; "That's a brilliant idea. When I grow up I want to be just like her!"

I outsource domestic duties. I will bribe, incentive, and negotiate my way out of them. At big family events, I am the entertainment, while my sister and cousins work furiously in the kitchen.

Day after the clearing, mid-morning, I notice that my youngest’ hair looks terribly unloved. So I decided to do something about it. First I went shopping for the ingredients I needed to rescue her hair. Please note; ingredients not products. I unintended to make whatever I could make from scratch; like a detangling potion from flax seeds, as well as a deep conditioner that requires honey, and a variety of oils. Like I said, I am competent at the domestic stuff, just not a fan. The whole thing took the entire day; there was prepping (initially I mistakenly boiled chia seeds instead of flax seeds 🤣), very gentle detangling so she doesn't have a meltdown, washing, conditioning, rinsing, more detangling and then twisting.

Sunday morning I woke up really early, there wasn't much to do at that hour, so I started cleaning the house. When I was done I felt the urge to cook from scratch, meaning no pre-mixed this or half prepped that, similar to how I approached the hair products the previous day. So I went shopping for whole ingredients and cooked.

I didn’t really notice any of this out of character behaviour until a friend asked me what I did over the weekend. I tended to my family. I didn’t send my daughter to the hair salon. I didn’t bribe her sister to fix her hair. I didn't get half prepped food from Woolies. I spontaneously wanted to be the one doing all of this and I loved every minute of it.

I guess that’s what the clearing freed within me.

So, how are you being, doing and feeling since the clearing?

I showed you mine. You show me yours. 😁

PLEASE NOTE: I went through the supplementary FULL COURTS OF ATONEMENT the day before the clearing. I am certain they also contributed to my softening.

The 2nd clearing in the series is on Friday 11th April. It goes deeper into the theme from the first one - by working on the relationship with our biological Mother and the Divine Mother.

We'll be using the following clearing goals:

  1. I now fully uncreate all the ways being my mother’s daughter has negatively affected my ability to BE, to RECEIVE and to FEEL HELD.

  2. I now choose to fully alchemise all negative and/or discordant energy I’ve inherited, received or absorbed from my mother.

  3. I am now 100% willing and able to heal all distortions in my relationship with masculinity and men that I inherited or absorbed from my mother.

  4. I am now 100% available to re-member the Divine Mother as fully and deeply as it is possible for me now.

  5. I now dissolve any and all ways I am connected to, and influenced by, the false lunar feminine collective consciousness archetype.

You can join it here, now.

The original post on this series of clearings has been updated with details on the above mentioned clearing goals; if you'd like to know why we will be working on these particular clearing goals.
